It was 20 single choice questions and 10 numerical questions out of which only five numerical are to be attempted and -1 mark the incorrect answer and 0 marks for not answered, and for numerical type questions, +4 marks for correct and 0 for incorrect. Paper –4 1 is 3-hour duration and consists of 30 single choice questions in each of the three subjects (Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics), +4 marks for correct answers & -1 mark is deducted for incorrect answers. The eligibility of students is becoming (18 to 20) years. In January 2020, it will introduce 20 single choice questions +5 numerical type questions by NTA. In single-choice questions,+4 marks have been awarded for correct answers, and no marks are deducted from numerical-type questions. From 2013 to 2016, the marks obtained in the class 12th school board examination used to be accorded a 40% weightage in deciding the JEE main of all India ranks. But JEE Advanced has a fixed exam structure and is not subject to change every year. Students aspiring to appear in JEE Main 2022 must ensure their eligibility before filling out the JEE Main application form. Students who do not satisfy the minimum eligibility criteria will not be considered for admission. It is thus advised to every applicant first check before filling up the JEE Main application form 2022.
• Candidates who have passed Class 12th in 2020 or 2021 or appearing in 2022 are eligible to fill the JEE Main 2022 form.
• Candidates who passed Class 12, before are not eligible to appear in JEE Mains 2022.
• Candidates must have physics and mathematics once as a compulsory subject in class 12 along with anyone subject from chemistry/ biotechnology/ biology/ technical vocational subject
• In these exams there is no requirement for a minimum percentage of marks in Class 12 for appearing in NTA JEE Mains. However, for admission to NITs, candidates need to have a minimum of 75 percentages of marks in class 12th.
Indian Institute of Technology, (IITs) will conduct JEE Advanced exam. It will be started to conduct online in 2018. This decision was taken by the Joint Admission Board, (JAB) to make exams more logistics and evaluative. Students should official notification is expected to publish in May 2022. Candidates must fulfill each and every one of the following five criteria to appear in JEE Advanced 2022.
Criteria 1 – Age limit:Candidates should have been born after October 1, 1997. In countries where a minimum stint in the armed forces (or allied) for a certain period is mandatory before/after the class 12th (or equivalent) exam, the candidate will be given a relaxation of the required number of years. In such a case, candidates are required to upload a certificate/testimonial issued by the component authority to this effect at the time of registration.
